Do what you want with the information below. Don’t believe every conspiracy theory you read. There are numerous unanswered questions about this horrific crime. Do your own thinking.

And RIP to my friend of many years, Gordon Cowden, who perished on that horrible evening.

These questions are from an email I received:

Eight yet to be answered questions about James Holmes and
the Century Theater Aurora mass killings and woundings:1.)  Who called Holmes’ cell phone 20 minutes into the movie and triggered his leaving through the emergency exit?2.)  What caused an “A”- student to decline so precipitously in his performance at school beginning in May?3.)  Was he on medication?  Was he hypnotized?  After his arrest, he told police he had taken 100 milligrams of  Vicodan, a prescription painkiller.

4.)  Where did a student who needed government grants to attend college get the estimated $20,000 + cash to buy all of the guns, ammo, chemicals, electronics, and equipment with which he was found?

–          Why were there two gas masks?

–          Why did he wear body armor yet not resist arrest?

 5.) Why did he immediately forewarn the police that his apartment was booby trapped with explosives when his intended purpose was to injure or kill whoever might enter his apartment?

 6.) How sophisticated were the booby traps, and where did he get the expertise to make them?  Why did the bomb squad take two days to disarm things if he did not have any expertise?

 7.) Why was there a trail of bloody footprints which went way beyond the point of Holmes’ arrest and around the corner of the building?

 8.) Did Holmes have an accomplice?  Some of those in the audience have testified to seeing a tear gas canister thrown from a different direction than Homes was standing.

Additional unanswered questions on a follow-up email:

Eyewitness Corbin Dates describes a man with a goatee as having been the one who took the cell phone call, then propped open the exit door. Not only did Holmes not have a goatee, but no eyewitnesses describe a man with bright orange hair as being in line, or in the theater or the lobby. Granted, the man who entered the theater was fully covered in SWAT gear (gas mask and helmet), so, the hair was fully covered.

Regarding Holmes’ condition on arrest–the following suggests that he was incapacitated:

Evidence that could have been easily created by someone else for a frame-up:

  • Emails.
  • The outgoing voicemail (which spooked the owner of the shooting range, on verification).
  • Mail ordered weapons.
  • Mail sent to UCD–the stick figure drawings (no chance for handwriting analysis–credible evidence, recognized by the courts).
  • Registered online for the dating website ‘AdultFriendFinder’.
HERE’s one plausible theory that supports a frame-up and gives a timeline. The ‘AdultFriendFinder’ account could easily have been set up on July 5th, and the orange-haired photo added later, as Holmes was witnessed only 2 days prior to the shooting, by customers at the Zephyr Bar in Aurora, who said that he joined in a discussion about the Broncos, seemed normal, and that his hair was still brown.
Also:
_________________________________________________________________
  • If the door was not alarmed, why?
  • The person who got the cell phone call sure acted as if he knew in advance that it was not alarmed.
Also: Why did the Aurora Police not detain large numbers of innocent people here like they did on June 2 and November 9? They claim such detentions are necessary for public safety. I mean, like, there could have been another crazed gunman in the area.

Gordon Cowden, my friend for over a decade, met a most untimely and premature demise in this tragedy.

Aurora Police Detain 3000 Innocent People for Eight Hours

By Doug Newman

On November 9, 2012, police in Aurora, Colorado, detained 3000 innocent people for eight hours while searching an apartment building for a shooting suspect.

Gateway High School has 2275 students. Jewell Elementary School, almost a mile away from the building, has 525 students. When you add to these numbers the faculty and staff at the two schools, the total number of detainees probably exceeds 3000.

In June of this year, 40 innocent people were detained for two hours by Aurora police while they apprehended a bank robbery suspect.

First it was 40 people for two hours. Then it was 3000 people for eight hours.

What is next?

I live in Aurora. This is very disturbing. When will it be my turn? When will I be detained and for how long for no other reason than I was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

In the wake of a virtual media blackout on this story – I only learned of it from a friend’s Facebook post – I am compiling whatever links I can related to this matter.

Oh I pray that I am not the only person in a city of over 300,000 people who is speaking out about this.

This has to stop! Here and now!

News articles:

My blog links on the November lockdowns:

About the June episode:

June 2, 2012 at Iliff and Buckley in Aurora. We have to let police stage mass detentions. There could be a gunman running loose in the area. It’s for the children.

My Facebook Exchange with the Aurora PD about Mass Lockdowns

By Doug Newman
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On November 9, Aurora police arbitrarily detained almost 3000 innocent people for over eight hours. I called them on it on Facebook. Here is a transcript of the exchange.
ME: Is this America or North Korea? In June, the Aurora PD unlawfully detained 40 innocent people for 2 hours after a bank robbery. Today, they detained perhaps a few thousand innocents all day!!! THIS HAS GOT TO CEASE!!!! WHAT IS YOUR EXPLANATION FOR THIS????? I AM TALKING TO YOU STEVE HOGAN! I AM TALKING TO YOU DAN OATES!
Aurora schools placed on 8-hour lockdown during suspect search
Police Vehicles actually a judge ruled that they “lawfully” detained those people and secondly what do you expect them to do, let a bunch of kids out of school when you have someone who might be an armed gunman that has shot at the police walk around.
Aurora Police Department The Aurora Police Department has the utmost concern for the safety of our citizens, especially children and will take every precaution necessary to keep them safe and out of danger.
ME: There was a murder in my condo association in September 2011. Why was there not a lockdown at the neighborhood elementary school? This school is a lot closer to my condo association than Jewell was to those apartments.
ME: Also, if you are so concerned for the safety of people, why did you not do lockdowns on the nearby King Soopers and Best Buy? Why not a lockdown on the Aurora Mall as well? I mean, like, there could have been an armed gunman there too.
ME: Just because a judge rules something does not make it valid. The Fifth Amendment protects against infringements on liberty without due process. Mass detentions are just this: infringements on liberty. And if you are going to violate the most basic liberties of innocent people, what will you do next?
ME: Yes, the prospect of a gunman who has shot at police – or anyone else for that matter – would concern me. However, a government that arbitrarily violates the rights of innocent people FOR WHATEVER REASON concerns me far more.
Letter to the Editor of the Denver Post – Aurora School Lockdowns
By Doug Newman
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has been three weeks since Aurora police put almost 3000 innocent people on lockdown for over eight hours. Since then, there has been no mention of it in the media. The Denver Post told me they would consider running this letter. To this day, they haven’t done so.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Editor:
When the police apprehend violent criminals, I commend them. When they unlawfully detain innocent citizens, we need to oppose them vigorously.
In June, when apprehending a bank robbery suspect, Aurora Police detained 40 innocent people at gunpoint for two hours. This past Friday, when searching an apartment complex for a shooting suspect, Aurora Police detained a few thousand innocent students and staff at Gateway High School and Jewell Elementary School for eight hours.
Is this how it is going to be now whenever there is a crime? And if mass detentions were necessary in these two episodes, why were they not necessary after the theater shootings in July or when someone was murdered 400 feet from my front door in 2011?
If they can detain innocent people for eight hours, why not do it for three or four days? Why stop there? Why not put the whole neighborhood on lockdown? What is next?
Whenever government at any level infringes on the liberty of innocent people, we need to speak out against it before they infringe even further.
Sit Down, Shut Up and Just Let The Cops Run Wild
By Doug Newman
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Such is the takeaway from this story from 7News in Denver.

Two schools were locked down and several thousand people, some as young as five, were held hostage for eight hours by the Aurora, CO, police this past Friday.

From the article:

When 7News called Aurora police to ask about potential public safety concerns, Aurora police spokesperson Lt. Frank Fania refused to give us any information regarding this incident and told 7News to never call again.

While we are at it, let’s just let the rest of the government run wild too.

The Aurora Police: Pyongyang Style (Or, “At Least The Cops Got What They Were Looking For”)

By Doug Newman
Posted on Facebook
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would blog at greater length about this. However, at this moment, I am so angry I cannot even see straight. I just want the world to know what the police are doing in my home of 18 years, Aurora, Colorado, just east of Denver.
On June 2 of this year, the Aurora Police unlawfully detained about 40 innocent people for two hours while apprehending a bank robber.
Whenever any government official – be it the president or the local cop – oversteps the constitutional limits on their authority, the question you must ask is: WHAT IS NEXT?
The Scriptures tell us that “the eyes of man are never satisfied”. The eyes of government at all levels are therefore never satisfied. They always want more power, control and influence. Give them and inch and they take a mile.
If the June episode did not make your blood boil, what happened today, November 9, 2012, certainly should.
The Aurora Police placed two schools – Jewell Elementary and Gateway High School – on lockdown from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm. Why were a few thousand innocent people, some as young as five years old, unlawfully detained for eight and a half hours? What prompted the Aurora Police to go Pyongyang Style?
A tale of two styles.
According to www.9news.com:
 “Two Aurora schools were placed on lockdown for more than eight hours Friday after police located a car they believe belongs to a man who shot at two metro-area police officers this past week. The lock down order was lifted at 4:45 p.m.
“Aurora police were at an apartment complex at East Mississippi Avenue and South Sable Boulevard in Aurora where the car was found Friday morning. During the investigation, two Aurora schools, Gateway High School and Jewell Elementary, were placed on lockdown.
“During the eight-hour lockdown, students and staff were not allowed to leave the classroom. School officials had to serve lunch to students in their classroom.
“Police say the extreme measures were taken to protect the citizen(s), schools and businesses in the area. Police searched the apartment complex and believe the suspect is not there.”
Again, you have to ask: WHAT IS NEXT?
When will you speak up? When will you wake up? When will you get a clue?
WHEN WILL YOU DRAW THE LINE?
IF YOU TOLERATE THIS, WHAT WON’T YOU TOLERATE?
Why couldn’t the police have held the kids at the schools all weekend? Why couldn’t they have molested the kids TSA-style? Why couldn’t they have done cavity searches on everyone?
If you tolerate this, I don’t give a rat’s gluteus maximus who you voted for. You deserve a president worse than Obama.
Read this sentence from the 9News story again: “Police say the extreme measures were taken to protect the citizen(s), schools and businesses in the area.”
The way it was in 1958.
Mass detentions are a characteristic of totalitarian regimes. So is claiming that tyranny “protects the citizens”.
It looks like the cops got the car they were looking for. So I guess the ends really do justify the Stalinist means. (Please note that this article reserves any mention of the lockdown for the last three paragraphs. Likewise for this Denver Post article.)
I grew up in a quaint little town in the recently hurricane-ravaged swamps of Jersey. “Local cops” were words that came just before “cherry tops” in a Bruce Springsteen lyric. The police pretty well left us alone in the 1970s and 80s. It is not just the Aurora police that are running wild. This is happening all over America. Oh, that America was a freer and more peaceful country.
Woodstock and Auschwitz
Not to blow my own horn, but I said this first:
“When you let people do whatever they want, you get Woodstock.
When you let governments do whatever they want, you get Auschwitz.”
“Faith-Based” Fraudulence
By Doug Newman
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” – II Corinthians 9:7
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to KrisAnne Hall for exposing the fraud that is Florida’s Amendment 8!!!
“There shall be no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting or penalizing the free exercise thereof. Religious freedom shall not justify practices inconsistent with public morals, peace, or safety.No individual or entity may be discriminated against or barred from receiving funding on the basis of religious identity or belief.”
This is a bad idea for a lot of reasons. Read KrisAnne’s devastating analysis here!!!
“Let’s Get the Republican Party Back to Its Conservative Roots”
By Doug Newman
“The first time a Republican became president, he undermined habeas corpus, racked up loads of debt, and started a war that killed half a million Americans. The last time a Republican became president, he undermined habeas corpus, racked up loads of debt, and started a war that killed half a million foreigners. But if we keep working within the Republican Party, maybe we can turn it into an engine for peace and liberty, just like it used to be back at no time whatsoever.” — Anthony Gregory
“Next Tuesday, you can vote for a politician who sees an expansive role for government in every area of American life, whose largest executive accomplishment was socializing medicine, a gun grabber and stealth tax raiser who sees the economy as something to be managed by central planners rather than entrepreneurs, a protectionist who has championed four years of bailouts, war, and attacks on fundamental civil liberties. Or you can vote for Obama. The election of a lifetime!” — Anthony Gregory
Our last “conservative” president outspent Kommunist Klinton by $1 trillion per year and added $5 trillion to the debt. For five of his eight years in office, he had a “conservative” House and Senate majority. – Me
