Denver police accused of excessive force, illegal search

I filmed an arrest in southwest Denver in late April of this year. One of the cops politely asked for my cell phone and I politely declined. Thank God it was that cop and not one of these.

“Why Am I Being Arrested”?

This example of police brutality took place at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, N.J., just a few miles from where I grew up.

It is a mistake to assume that every Libertarian voter is a wayward Republican. It is likewise a mistake to assume that every Libertarian vote hurts Republicans and helps Democrats.

Many left-wingers are drawn to the Libertarian Party because of its respect for civil liberties and its opposition to monstrosities such as the War on Drugs.

In fact, it is safe to say that it was long-hair, left-wing, dope-smoking Libertarians who put GW Bush in office.

How so?

In Florida, in 2000, 16,415 people voted for Harry Browne, the Libertarian candidate for president. It is fairly safe to say that at least 538 – or 3.28 percent – of them were left-libertarians who preferred Harry Browne over drug warrior Al Gore. Those 538 votes covered the spread between Bush and Gore and sent GW Bush to the White House.

If you are a right-wing, holy-rolling megachurch Bush groupie, you ought to be eternally thankful for these 538 long-hair, left-wing, dope-smoking Libertarians. They put your idol in the Oval Office.

political matrix

It’s not left versus right. The true paradigm is really more like this.

I Can’t Stand Democrat X, So I Am Voting for Republican Y

I can’t stand Democrat X, so I am voting for Republican Y. I really like what Republican Y is saying, and I am in total denial about his history of voting for big, ugly, costly, intrusive, warmongering government as well as that affair with his secretary. And if Republican Y is elected, I will continue to be in total denial as he continues to vote for big, ugly, costly, intrusive, warmongering government as well as any future adultery he might commit. And I will believe absolutely anything he says, because he is not Democrat X.

Republican Liberty Caucus condemns Bob Beauprez’s false Promise

Beauprez never did anything as a congressman to restore liberty. Hence, there is no reason to believe that, if elected governor of Colorado, that he will reverse anything Hickenlooper has done or resist Obama.
I am voting for Matt Hess, the Libertarian candidate.

Republican candidate for Governor, Bob Beauprez, is out with a new commercial claiming he will defend individual liberty and constitutional rights.

Sadly, during his time in the US house of Representatives, Bob Beauprez voted for multiple assaults on our liberties under the bill of rights including: allowing warrantless wiretapping, indefinite detention of accused prisoners, allowing hearsay evidence at trial.  He even voted to allow the FBI to continue to collect your personal records, including fire arms sales, without informing you!

Bob Beauprez has claimed that it is the job of government to force its citizens to be “responsible” and buy health insurance.  He even went so far as to compare those who choose not to purchase insurance to someone who walks out of the grocery without paying for his items.

“The good news is that liberty is popular!  The bad news is that, for many candidates, liberty is…

Jesus did not institute the Christian church

“Jesus had very little to do with religion. He had no home in any particular religious sect. He did not identify himself with the Essenes, Pharisees, Zealots, Priests or Rabbis. He did not subscribe to any school of thought, whether it was the school of the great Rabbi Hillel, Philo the philosopher, or the school of the Cynics, all of which had a strong following in his day.

Jesus identified with the whole of humankind irrespective of race, religion, or gender. His vision transcended any sect. He was not a member of any exclusive group. Jesus recognized that no group had a monopoly on the Truth or God. Some of Jesus’s earliest followers wrongly assumed that only their small group could claim to be his true disciples. But Jesus taught that any person who listened to the Spirit of God inside them and loved their neighbor were themselves a Jesus…

“… dictatorship means nothing else but this — Power without limit, resting directly upon force, restrained by no laws, absolutely unrestrained by rules.” – Lenin

On September 11, 2001, a horrific crime was committed.

On September 12, 2001, the American people became suspects. *

Guantanamo Sept 11 TrialOn September 14, 2001, the American president became a dictator. It was on this day that the House voted 420-1** and the Senate voted 98-0 to pass the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) in response to the 9/11 attacks.

It is a very short document…
