Deport Piers Morgan? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While he is anti-gun and his treatment of Larry Pratt was deplorable, these are not crimes. The same Bill of Rights that protects him, protects you and me as well. The Bill of Rights protects unpopular words, unpopular deeds and unpopular people. And if Piers Morgan can be punished for speech that you don’t like, why, then, can’t YOU be punished simply because somebody, somewhere doesn’t like something that YOU might say or do someday?

You reap what you sow. Freedom is a 2-way street.

Would you like it if some wretched pervert were peeping through your blinds?

Then why do we tolerate the level of surveillance carried out by the United States government? This article maintains that Americans in 2013 are “the most spied upon people in world history.”

How do I know that we tolerate this? Just look at the election returns. 98% of Americans voted for surveillance state candidates in 2012. Evidently, it’s not a big deal.

How do you know that you are not breaking one of the laws contained within these tomes? And just remember, ignorance of the law is no defense.

And if you are naive enough to think that you are not doing nothing wrong so you have nothing to fear, watch the video embedded in the article. At the 8:00 mark, you will get perhaps the best answer I have ever heard to this: YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG! THE GOVERNMENT DOES!

All of this has been sold to us in the name of “national security”.

Please note that this is called a “Post-Moscow drill.” Moscow was the capital of disarmed society wherein those with guns killed tens of millions of disarmed subjects.

No surprise here. The Rs have been at this forever, but they keep getting re-elected because, well, “at least they are not Democrats.” Our last Republican president outspent Klinton by $1 trillion per year and added $5 trillion to the debt, and was hailed as a “great conservative.” In 2008 and 2012, you had a choice for a true economic conservative with a stellar record of voting against tax hikes, unbalanced budgets, unconstitutional programs, etc. His name: RON PAUL!!! But no, you had to go with McCain the first time and Romney the second. You made your own bed. Lie in it. You have no sympathy from me.

I have been warning about this since early 1992. And for all of you who told me I was “wasting my vote” on Libertarians or Constitution Party candidates, all I can say is that I did not vote for ANYONE who got us into this current mess.

I have never heard of Tona Monroe, but I salute her for writing the kind of article I wish I had the time to write. In the last two paragraphs, she knocks it into the cheap seats.

Why do so many around the world hate America? It is not “our freedom and democracy”. When you throw your weight around militarily the way this country has ever since its infancy, you cannot help but have a lot of people hate you. And while they may not be able to take you over militarily, they will hate and resent you.

Four Bible Passages that Christians Almost Always Misinterpret

bible readGenesis 12:2-3 does not command blind, unquestioning, knee-jerk support for everything the modern state of Israel does.

Matthew 22:21 does not command us to render unto to Caesar everything he demands and then just sit down and shut up.

Romans 13:1-7 does not command blind, unquestioning obedience to secular authority.

I Timothy 2:1-2 does not command us to never criticize or rebuke earthly leaders.

There are plenty more passages that Christians almost always misinterpret. However, my specialty is the world of Scripture as it pertains to political life. And these are the “Big Four” that Christians get wrong over and over again.

Gun Control Is Not Biblical

Gun control is not biblical. If anything, it is Darwinist. It renders the controlees less “fit” than the controllers.

There is no suggestion anywhere in the Scriptures to indicate that depriving humans of a tool – and by this I mean any tool – will stop them from engaging in evil, as evil is the condition of the human heart. (Jeremiah 17:9)
