CDC: Only 6% of COVID Deaths Have Been from COVID Alone

Click here and then look at the paragraph just above the horizontal dark blue bar that says “Table 3”.

Big thanks to Steve Deace for pointing out these statistics.

So if 174,070 deaths have been COVID-related, only 10,444 have been from COVID alone. (These statistics are as of 9/5/20.)

Yes, that’s still 10,444 too many.

But in a nation of 330,000,000 that means that only 1 person in 31,597 will die solely from COVID.

Or, you can look at it this way: if you don’t have one of the listed comorbidities, you have a 99.9968 percent chance of NOT dying of COVID.

So, get out of your fetal position.

Crawl out from under your bed.

Take off your STUPID face diaper.

Grab your phone, keys and wallet.

Walk out the door and lock it behind you.

AND GO…LIVE…LIFE!

About Food for the Thinkers

My name is Doug Newman. I live in Aurora, Colorado, just outside Denver. Food for the Thinkers is mostly about the connection between Christianity and libertarianism. Most Christians do not understand libertarianism. And most libertarians do not understand Christianity. Hopefully, this blog helps clear up those misunderstanding. Check out my old page at www.thefot.us And remember: When you let people do whatever they want, you get Woodstock. But when you let governments do whatever they want, you get Auschwitz.

Doug, I don’t remember if I already sent you this info or not, but here it is anyway:

Canada Total: 61,981 (0 presumptive, 61,981 confirmed including 4,037 deaths, 26,329 resolved). The population according to Google is 37.59 million. Therefore 0.0016488693801543 % of the country has the virus confirmed and 0.0001073955839318968 % have died which is less than the rate for the seasonal flu for both infection and deaths per year in Canada.

So looking at the numbers alone you have less than a .01 % chance of catching this virus and even less than .001% of dying from it, so it makes no sense to shut down the economy and coerce people into “social [sic] distancing”. Also most of these deaths were the typical elderly and immune compromised people who are most vulnerable to the flu. On top of that, the CDC changes the way deaths are reported so that COVID is listed as the cause even if it is not.

                                                    * * * * * * * * *                     * * * * * * * * * *                     * * * * * * * * * *

The Canadian government claims that 8,900 Canadians have died from Covid to date (approximately the last eight months).  Even if one accepts their falsified, manipulated figures, the death rate out of our population of 37.95 million (37,950,000) is a mere 0.0002345191% of the population.  Go ahead, check my math.

Also according to Statistics Canada, as of 2017 (the last calendar year for which statistics are available), “Accidental deaths include, but are not limited to, deaths from transport accidents, discharge of firearms, drowning, exposure to smoke or fire, and poisonings.  The number of accidental deaths rose from 8,589 in 2000 to 13,894 in 2017, due to a rise in deaths from falls and poisonings.”

So you are far more likely to die by falling down stairs than from Covid unless you have a “premordant condition”.

    Peace and Liberty,

~ Manuel Miles, aka Kaptain Kanada
