They were tragic events; tragic, strange, and puzzling.  President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 by a mysterious and ill-defined man name Lee Harvey Oswald who was then assassinated by another shadowy character named Jack Ruby who then became ill in prison and died..

On June 6, 1968, almost five years later, Robert Kennedy, who had been Attorney General during his brother’s Administration, was also assassinated while campaigning for President.  His assassin, Sirhan Bishara Sirhan, was a 24 year old Palesinian who claimed he shot him because of his support for Israel in the 1967 Six Day War.  At his last parole hearing, Sirhan testified that he has never had a memory of the assassination nor of any details of his 1969 trial and confession.
