The Political Phenomenon That Is Trump Worship: Asinine and Imbecilic

In early 2016, Trump said that he could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and not lose supporters.

Oh sure, he’d lose a few. Quite a few, in fact. But not his Cult45 supporters. Not those who think he was the polar opposite of of everyone else, that God sent him to save America, that he was going to drain the swamp and singlehandedly stand down the New World Order … if only the liberals would stop being such meanyheads.

By liberal, they mean anybody who even dares voice the mildest responsible objection to his agenda.

Behold an orange horse.

Somedays, I don’t know who’s worse: Team MAGA or Team Lockdown.

Here is a great, albeit mildly depressing, article by Gary Barnett at www.lewrockwell.com.

About Food for the Thinkers

My name is Doug Newman. I live in Aurora, Colorado, just outside Denver. Food for the Thinkers is mostly about the connection between Christianity and libertarianism. Most Christians do not understand libertarianism. And most libertarians do not understand Christianity. Hopefully, this blog helps clear up those misunderstanding. Check out my old page at www.thefot.us And remember: When you let people do whatever they want, you get Woodstock. But when you let governments do whatever they want, you get Auschwitz.
