Mr. Speaker,
I write in reference to the following remark of yours from last week’s debate in Iowa.
“I am the longest-serving teacher in the senior military, 23 years teaching one- and two-star generals and admirals the art of war.”
I am a retired Naval Reservist. I have family members who are veterans. I have had numerous personal friends who are, among other things, combat veterans, Navy SEALS and service academy graduates. Anybody who has ever served in the military knows that “the art of war” is something that is only taught by senior military people, i.e. those who have actually worn the uniform, earned their way through the ranks and gotten the dirt under their fingernails.
n00t knows nothing about being on either side of this conversation.
What do you know about 13 weeks at Parris Island?
What do you know about Beast Barracks at West Point?
What do you know about Hell Week at Navy SEAL School?
Not one damn thing!
Have you ever had bullets whizzing by your head?
Have you ever had bombs going off all around you?
Have you ever heard something go KABOOM, turned around and placed your hand in a pool of goo that 30 seconds before was your best friend’s face?
I think the answer to these questions would be an emphatic NO!
For all you Newtniks out there: this BUDS instructor qualifies as a military teacher. Chickenhawk n00t does not. Any questions?
In the 1960s while you were prancing around the groves of academe and taking advantage of three draft deferments, less privileged kids from places like the Ninth Ward of New Orleans and the Eastern Prairie of Colorado were fighting and bleeding and dying in places like Hue and the Mekong Delta.
Now you aspire to become Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Of all the sailors, soldiers, airmen and Marines you want to send to war, do you know any of their names? Will you attend any of their funerals?
I think not.
You have done as much to earn the designation of “longest-serving teacher in the senior military” as Kim Jong-Un did to become a four-star general at the age of 25.
I will give John Kerry this and this only: he put himself in harm’s way for four and a half months in Vietnam.

Yep, just heard him say it again after SC’s debate January 19th. I knew it was a lie, as this is his achille’s heel if anything: He said, “I was the longest serving senior teacher in the military”. Even little ol me knew that was BS. This will backfire, no doubt. I don’t want to say “thank you for your service” cause it sounds like a cliche, but that’s in my heart and I mean it and Ilove you. God bless our men and women who sacrified and especially those who gave it all. I don’t FB, but it needs to grow legs. Chickenhawk is the worst kind of coward. God Knows how we let these creeps rise to power and rule over good men,

This is Newt Gingrich the first outrageous claim about his military service.
RON PAUL IS AN IDIOT WHEN IT COMES TO FORIGN POLICY. HE WOULD HAVE THE U.S. BECOME AN ISOLATED COUNTRY AT THE EXPENSE OF OUR FREEDOM AND WORLD FREEDOM . HE DOESN’T KNOW THE SLIGHTEST THING ABOUT THE NATURE OF THE MUSLIM EXTREMEIST IE. IRAN AND THEIR DETERMINATION FOR WORLD WIDE DOMINATION . THEY ARE BUILDING A NUCLEAR WEAPON TO DELIVER IT. WHAT PART OF THAT DOES HE NOT UNDERSTAND.
Poor thing. So misguided and misinformed. Ron Paul’s foreign policy is brilliant and common sense. But, folks like you Bob, don’t realize that he is quoting idiots like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, and Reagan. His foreign policy is also what Bush Jr. and Obama ran on , but lied about.
It is called Non-intervention. We don’t attack those who have not attacked us. The majority of our military agrees with and supports Ron Paul. Michael Scheuer, CIA analyst and head of the Bin Laden unit agrees with Ron Paul, and has publicly endorsed Ron Paul, as have upper brass in the military.
Ron Paul’s foreign policy strengthen our National Defense by bringing those t roops home and stationing them here. It also stops 1/2 trillion dollars from being wasted in foreign countries. That in turn, stops us from borrowing from China to pay to blow up innocent civilians in coutries that didn’t attack us, and then rebuilding their countries instead of our own infrastructure,a nd revamping our military. Here is the real deal. We either draw down our troops now, or we leave them stranded because of bankruptcy. Ron Paul will prevent the bankruptcy.
Iran does not have a nuke, and isn’t building a nuke. The chief is Israel’s Mossad says th at Iran is not a threat and they don’t need our help or our foreign aid. Neyanyahu said the same to our Congress. Iran does not want world domination. That too, was a Bachmann lie.
Basically, you drank the koolaid, and don’t know what you are taling about. And that is as nicely as I can put it.
Bob Hoskins ^ represents the status quo. Just another ignorant warmongering expansionistic “lets stick our hands in everybody’s pie” sheeple rep “business as usual” club member.
Take your blindfold off Bob. I’ll bet my pension that you have never served.
